- Alan Pardew rested a host of players in their final league game of the season and can call upon his strongest XI for the FA Cup final on Saturday.
- Mile Jedinak has been a regular at the heart of their midfield in the second half of the season but his position is under threat with Yohan Cabaye, Jason Puncheon and James McArthur all vying for starts in three positions.
- Marouane Fellaini is available after serving his three-match ban and could come straight back into the starting XI to help Manchester United defend from set pieces, which has been a weakness of late.
- Other than that, few surprises are expected from Louis van Gaal. Memphis, however, has been omitted from the squad for the final.
