  • Jenkinson is starting due to circumstances, but he started the season well. To be a defender you need experience, you don't just see world class 21 year-old defenders, it takes time. Jenkinson has 4.7 tackles per game (6th the PL) and 1.3 key passes per game, he isn't as terrible as people make him, not this season, anyway. I'm not saying he's a class right-back but you never know how he'll develop his talent. He obviously has a talent, and has started the season well, now it's only a matter of how he progresses though the coming years. It's really about how he progress and develop his talent, he's still young with a lot of things to learn, you never know.

  • Jenkinson's a complete liability and will soon enough get found out. The best player he has come up against this season is 17 year-old Raheem Sterling. Watch out when he has to play someone with prem experience

  • Jenkinson would have been loaned out to a Championship club if it weren't for Sagna's injury problems. Wasn't signed to go into the side after only a handful of games for Charlton. Sagna's problems have meant that it's a necessity that he's played

  • @Bashirali Well obviously, you're clearly a deluded Arsenal fan.

  • Dave, are you actually watching the matches or smoking something? Jenkinson, unconvincing??!! He is 19 years old, and the performance he has put out in the 3 matches played is way better than average. And i have no idea about what you mean about, "unconvincing"....most of the top full backers in the world, were not even known for winning that many aerial duels. And instead of just saying, "I think it's only a matter of time before Arsenal's defence makes a costly error" why don't you justify you claim on that? I disagree with you.

  • I think it's only a matter of time before Arsenal's defence makes a costly error. Jenkinson is also unconvincing in my opinion
