for a while leeds were terrible tactically which is especially ironic after the managers comments. too much space left for city on the wings with that formation, the leeds players were also too passive, non-aggressive, not much pressing, terrible at defending ground crosses (and conceded 2 goals that way) and terrible at defending 1v1 on mahrez's side, he succeeded in cutting inside pretty much every single time he tried to (and he also always attempted the same thing). after the 2 goals they did seem to make it harder for city tactically, the players themselves behaved in much of the same way, but lets not forget city missed chances too, its not like leeds totally shut them down. as for city, de bruyne especially showed that citys playmaking quality improves when hes there pulling those through balls. it also seemed easy in those moments cuz of the amount of space leeds were giving to both kdb to pass, and to the city winger making the run. huge spaces between leeds defenders.
@Icarax Good analysis of the match. I thought Leeds were much improved in the second half both defensively and offensively. City weren't at their best and the shenanigans around the missed penalty could have had much more serious consequences if Leeds could have equalised.
@GioMonaldo Perhaps he 'd ve misssed also. I mean, Haaland was not sharpy today missed several clear chances like that headed with the empty arc, etc. seemed to me he was under pressure for breaking more scoring records.
Richie I will be at the Estadio Olimpico de Sevilla tonight for the Real Madrid v Osasuna final.I have had a large bet on the Asian Handicap RM -1 @1.55 Odds.
@Marbella The very best of luck with your bet tonight, Marbella! :) Even if it doesn't come in, what a fantastic setting and a great match to watch live! You are a very useful person to discuss Football and Gambling with, mate. Don't let these guys wind you up; they seem to be here for purposes of Trolling rather than winning money! Have a fabulous AND successful night, my friend! :)
@koziol.mutant I think he'll try to defend with his life but can he succeed? My understanding from reports in the Press is this the Leeds Dressing Room is divided. Has Big Sam had enough time to instil any kind of discipline and/togetherness in his very short time as Manager? I'm betting against it when I say, City 3.0 or 4.0
Today, thousands of people will line the streets for his official take over.
He's waited patiently for years for this moment.
Tears will be shed.
An emotional moment for him & his family, with millions watching on TV from around the globe.
Good luck Big Sam
I am getting sick of all the trolls on here.When you win they stay quiet BUT as soon as you have a loser they pop up everywhere.Ironically most of them never post any predictions.
@Marbella It's hard to ignore the Trolls, Marbella, when they are simply trying to wind you up! For what it's worth, I think your Tips are very consistent. It's impossible to get every prediction correct or we'd all be millionaires, mate, :)
Big Sam will park the bus and try to play counter attack BUT Man City will go all out attack from the start and destroy Leeds.City will hope to be 2-0 or 3-0 up by half time.
I would be very interested to hear the views of any Leeds fans; what they make of the Allardyce situation, Big Sam's comments and how they see this match, today.
I appreciate that City might/will rotate for Madrid but, really, Leeds have been woeful in their last few matches setting all kinds of (unwanted) records. I agree with the Tipster and I'm going for us to score over 2.5 Goals, again, Big Sam or no Big Sam.
I have a gut feeling Haaland will play just the first half then be replaced by Alvarez like they did in the game before their last CL game at Bayern Munich.

Massive respect to Haaland for giving the pen to Gundogan.

@dib I doubt he'd have missed but it's beautiful to find out he's not as selfish as he might seem.
My prediction: Haaland and DB to get injured before 3days away from Real Madrid's game.

come on Haaland...to beat 63+ goals in a season means you have to now put in some effort ...stop taking it easy !!!!
Big Sam will make it respectable 2-0
@koziol.mutant Great Prediction! Well done, that man! :)
@RichieRochdale thanx;)

Whoscored will start to ban 'troll' accounts deliberately set up to cause disruption.

In Man Citys 8 games against the current bottom 4, they have won 20 points, scoring 23 goals, and kept three clean sheets.
Above prediction is until half-time? 6-0+
Man City 3-0

@AnesuMc true zimbo

Pep says he may rotate for Tuesdays game at Real Madrid.He says he needs to keep his players fresh.
Sam Allardyce has 4 games to save Leeds.
@Marbella Going off the strength of this performance, Allardyce would probably have kept Leeds up if he'd been appointed instead of Garcia.
@Marbella it's just a quick payday for him...4 games is not enough to get any new system in place....
@Marbella I really don't think he can do it.
