This result showed how important H Maguire is to that Man Utd defence - world class defender in my opinion. Its always painful being outplayed by Liverpool and we deserved to get beat. Surprised Pogba got such a high rating when he was at fault for the Firmino goal (1-2).
@ndabuko_dlamini This. Maguire has really high key errors and with his stupid price tag people meme him to oblivion, but it doesn’t change his quality. Overpriced but underrated because of this, that’s why United needs a centre back to partner him so badly this summer. Bailly and Lindelof looked completely lost
Should not Shaw be given an "E" for giving away the ball at the 1-3 goal?
Nat Phillips having a 7.7 is ridiculous. He was on toast all game long, was in the right place at the right time for the block and for the assist. Somehow has a better rating than Thiago, who was brilliant today.
You know you've played embarrassingly when you let Firmino score, let alone get two.
Oh Yeah, baby, always a pleasure beat United.
Fernandes is a drama queen today.
@tar88s he kinda is every game, sometimes a brilliant drama queen sometimes just a drama queen.
Outrageous that Dean Henderson has not been credited with an error leading to goal mark next to his name.
It is not Bruno’s goal , it is an owned goal
Anywhere else on the pitch it's a free kick, joke no penalty
@3shots No way. I was gonna ask if someone actually thinks that’s a pen. Lemme go ahead and assume you’ve never played the sport before in your life, or you’re a giant pussy. Either way, that is never, EVER a penalty or free kick.
@normal_fan99 If this was so obvious they wouldn`t show so many replays even after the VAR break.
@normal_fan99 Today's law's deem it to be a foul, another error by the officials, why do you need to be abusive, is that a sign of your lack of intelligence
@3shots no but your opinion is. I worry about people like you in football who would actually give a penalty and a free kick for a tackle that wins the ball cleanly before any contact occurs. You saying that the law deems it a foul suggests your intelligence though, you should try reading the rules or waiting until you’ve played the sport before commenting on how it should be officiated.
@normal_fan99 Souness and Keane both reckoned it should've been a penalty and that's good enough for me, by the way I have been involved in football coaching at a very high level
Shot was deemed on target from Bruno, so Bruno gets the goal.
Own goal not a Fernandes goal
@Nico1 hahahaha so predictable that you’d say this
Pogba and mctominay shot each 9/2
Man Utd to win and over 2.5 match goals.
@nexus747 @3.90 odds
United will play a strong side against their 'rivals' to try and stop them getting a Champions League place.They will then rest players in their next game against relegated Fulham at Old trafford.
@nexus747 they're already out of the UCL race. Europa League is all they have now
@Chilly_B No they are not. Chelsea and Leicester are playing each other next round, if Liverpool win their remaining games they will get CL.
@Chilly_B - Liverpool can still reach 69 points if they win all 4 of their remaining matches. It is unlikely that they'll overtake Chelsea and Leicester, but not impossible. It's only over when it's over.
Over 2.5 Goals
Match was postponed ((
Salah to score !!
The Glazers have spent over £1 billion on players transfers since Fergie left. United fans "waa, waa, waa. our owners are so greedy!"
@Nico1 literally stfu man. Any opinion you have about either Man United or Liverpool is complete and utter garbage. You don’t understand even the surface level of the problem so please stop.
@normal_fan99 he's a typical braindead football fan. You could murder his entire family and he'd somehow pin it on United or United fans, he's obsessed with them.
@childishjp Lol how both of you are trying to deflect from my point cos you know it's true. The Glazers have spent billions to allow United to compete. It's your dreadful managers (since Fergie left) who are the problem!
@Nico1 Nothing you say ever has any value - look at your comment above about 'rumours of United fans hospitalising a few more police officers' which you literally pulled out of your bum because you're plain obsessed. You need a hobby.
@Nico1 I'd educate you on the extent of the issues but I know you're too thick to understand any of it, you'd rather just hate and spout crap. It's kinda your M.O.
Back draw
Man United - Liverpool 1:1(0:0)
I don't agree with everything they did, but I understand.
Huge props for MU fans
@wilde Well, the protests are absolutely correct and I applaud the reaction from most football fans and clubs from across Europe. But to put it really simply, crime and violence never have a place. As a United fan, I’m proud of the sheer numbers that showed up today to protest, but I’m not proud of the individuals that broke into the stadium and were there for the thrill of needless hooliganism.
@normal_fan99 That only shows how stupid English people are and also they are not civilized, first they are stupid because Utd are doing good this season compared to the previous ones and they are close of winning the EL, second they are not civilized because of the way they protested.
@normal_fan99 cringe keep pretending you're a real football fan and would just sit there quietly and let your owners destroy your club. Silent protest achieves nothing even bloody GANDHI knew that.
@Renewed cringe. And the police officers who were hurt did exactly what to enflame the situation and damage the club..? Everyone’s frustrated and there is nothing worse for sport than the American model which has its roots in greed. But cmon, I’m not saying a silent protest is all that should’ve happened but I am saying no innocent people should be hurt... these people have families and are just doing their jobs (injured police).
@wilde Screw them!! beating up police, breaking into the stadium, vandalising cars, throwing flares at people. All because of some delusional belief that their owners don't spend enough money!! Utter scum bags!
@Nico1 If stupidity was food, you could feed an entire continent.
@Aereze Nice attempt at deflection from the fact that United fans hospitalised police officers...
@Nico1 Wait, weren’t Liverpool fans responsible for throwing bottles and other items at the Real Madrid team bus, without there being anything else tied to the event other than the fact that they were about to be knocked out?
@normal_fan99 drop the whataboutery you melt
@Chilly_B No thanks. I condemned the violence, my point is that he reduces united and its supporters to rubbish but maintains his own high standing when it comes to Liverpool and their fans. Just pointing out his hypocrisy, not rationalizing the actions of united supporters who took it too far.
@normal_fan99 the actions of the United fans are not justified, by Liverpool fans or the Glazers. Violence has no place in sport, and dismissing it as "Well they do it too" is stupid and immature
@Chilly_B what?? I literally said “just pointing out his hypocrisy, not rationalizing the actions of united supporters who took it too far.” I actually word for word explained what you’re saying. I’m not saying “they do it too” therefore it’s ok, I’m saying “they do it too” so step off your high horse in response to Nico.
@normal_fan99 Yeah mate, cracking a window is clearly on the same level as breaking a police officers eye socket! Mug
It will be a welcome rest for United before they play Roma in Italy on thursday.
@nexus747 6-2 they can literally field second or third team and still advance chill
People are getting angry, all that pent up emotion that's been hoisted upon us through this planned psychological war. All the people protesting and rioting around the world. Out of the 14 finished football matches today in England, Scotland, France, Italy and Spain there's been 8 red cards.
@Geolardo "Planned psychological war" assuming you're talking about the Pandemic, fuck you
Apparently the police could not guarantee the safety of the players and referee officials so the EPL cancelled it.
Manchester United's game against Liverpool has been postponed after about 200 fans broke into Old Trafford to protest against the Glazer family's ownership of the club.
Match is postponed. cheers.
Match postponed.
It is now 7pm !
Kick off will now be 6pm uk time.
@nexus747 Sauce?
@MrNemobody Daily mail and BBC.
If the game gets cancelled maybe they’ll just declare the score 0-0 and then move on to the next match week. Save 2 hours of your life
A flare was thrown into the commentators box lucky no one was hurt.
Both clubs are meeting now to see if they can cancel the game.Both sets are players are stuck in their hotels with crowds blocking the way.
Lots of camera's are destroyed, looking very likely for the game being cancelled. I don't understand why you would ever do this, the protests i understand, but destroying and sabotaging the game (and even THIS game in particular) is uncalled for. Hope for a reschedule and not Liverpool being handed a forfeit win... -_-
@Kendev cancelling the fixture entirely would cost the TV stations money. I think it more likely that the match will be rescheduled and United get fined. It's not impossible that a single point deduction for United will be considered but I doubt it will be implemented.
@Kendev Well that's the only way the owners will get the message that they're not wanted. You have to take drastic action in cases like this.
Kick off delayed as thousands of fans protesting outside old trafford and some have got into the ground.
@nexus747 do you have any idea that how long it supposed to be delay ?
United win 2:1
1:1
UTD 2-0
This is not going to end with a draw.
@bopol whats it going to end with then?
@uefalona a rescheduling
Anyway i thing going with over 1.5 is best
Personally, I’m thinking it’ll be a draw, which isn’t difficult to predict. But I do also think that United could blow Liverpool away, I’ve watched Kabak often and Fabinho hasn’t been as good this season, so it really depends on which United shows up. If they really go at them it could get messy, but otherwise too cautious and it’ll be a low scoring draw.
These five persons that predicted 15-0 are they okay?
Liverpool to gift Mancity the trophy through this game
@obynomma Does City need a gift from Liverpool to win this year trophy?
Liverpool must do everything in their power to make top four, can you imagine UCL without Liverpool?
@GioMonaldo , yes we can . They are no aliens
@footballover yeah before Klopp completely transformed them. I'm talking about Klopp's Pool.
@GioMonaldo... Liverpool have only been in 33% of Champions League tournaments. You don’t need a big imagination to picture them missing out again....
@DaveJRyan But we've won it 6 times!!
I am amazed Utd at home are the 'underdogs' in the betting market.
United Draw no bet @ 2.00 odds.Obviously the stake will be refunded if it ends in a draw.
0-0
Utd will be buzzing with confidence and will win at old trafford.
Man United - Liverpool 1:1(0:0)
2-1
MU 1-0
Liverpool won't lose.
@Ekechi won’t win either
