Valencia enter race for Everton target

Valencia are looking to wrap up a swift deal to sign Fenerbahce forward Nani, according to Portuguese newspaper Record, via Turkish Football.

Nani is currently on international duty with Portugal at Euro 2016 but is widely expected to return to one of Europe’s top leagues following an impressive debut campaign with Fenerbahce in the Turkish Super Lig.

New Everton manager Ronald Koeman is reportedly looking to make the former Manchester United winger one of his first signings at Goodison Park and is keen to match his €8.5m release clause.

However, Nani’s agent, Federico Pastorello, has travelled to Spain to hold talks with Valencia, who are now the frontrunners to sign the 29-year-old.
