Tottenham and Atletico Madrid are set to do battle for Hoffenheim teenager Nadiem Amiri, according to German newspaper Bild, via HITC.
Amiri, 19, has enjoyed an impressive breakthrough campaign for Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga this season and his performances this season has already led to a call-up to the Germany Under-21 squad.
The German attacking midfielder has two years left to run on his current deal at Hoffenheim and his displays have already courted interest from Atletico and Tottenham, although it may be too soon for Amiri to make the next step in his career.
Amiri has played a direct hand in eight goals (four goals, four assists) in 23 league appearances for Bundesliga strugglers Hoffenheim this season. In fact, Amiri has scored as many goals as Bayern Munich superstar Kingsley Coman in the Bundesliga this season - joint as the highest scoring teenagers in the German top-flight.
