Sevilla have announced midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak has signed a new three-and-a-half-year deal.
Krychowiak, 25, was linked to Arsenal over the summer but remained at the club and has now committed his long-term future to the club.
The La Liga outfit signed the Poland international from Reims for €4.5m (£3.21m) last summer and the defensive midfielder proved an integral part in their Europa League triumph, scoring the winning goal. His release clause is now set at €45m (£32m).
The Sevilla midfielder is currently averaging more interceptions per game (6.5) than any other player in the Champions League.
