Tottenham make approach for Juventus star

Tottenham are eyeing a move for Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa in the summer transfer window, reports TuttoJuve.

Spurs have reportedly initiated early talks with the Serie A side to ascertain the possibility of a move for the 26-year-old, who finished the 2023/24 campaign with nine goals and two assists in the Italian top-flight.

Chiesa has struggled to reach the lofty heights expected of him in Turin since his move from Fiorentina in 2020, and is still yet to better his single-season scoring tally of 10 with La Viola.

It is suggested that the Italy international could be available for a fee in the region of €25 million, with Ange Postecoglou keen to bolster his attacking ranks amid uncertainty over the futures of Richarlison and Manor Solomon.

Chiesa has reportedly been the subject of interest from Spurs’ Premier League rivals Newcastle, though it remains to be seen whether they will formalise their admiration for the Juventus No. 7.
