  • Wilson Odobert has returned to training for Tottenham and could feature here.
  • Richarlison may make his first appearance since August in midweek.
  • Captain Son Heung-Min is unlikely to be involved.
  • Wouter Goes, Lewis Schouten and Sam Westerveld will all be assessed.
  • With Bruno Martins Indi also out, Maxim Dekker may start at the back.
  • Troy Parrott should lead the charge against his former employers.

Prediction

  • Tottenham came from behind to get back to winning ways when they welcomed West Ham to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday.
  • AZ's losing streak extended to four at the weekend as they fell to a 2-1 home loss to PSV.
  • Spurs should make it three wins from three in the Europa League on Thursday.

Comments (10)

  • Spurs isn't taking this serious. They field 9 different players compared to the West Ham United game. The home team to win odds are therefore tricky.

  • SPURS Forster, Gray, Dragusin, Davies, Udogie, Bentancur, Maddison, Bergvall, Moore, Richarlison, Werner.

  • Spurs Win, Alkmaar's Defense is pretty bad

  • AZ Alkmaar played over 80 minutes of their last match with 10 men are generally in a bad run of form. However, they will be keen to turn it around here, particularly ex-Spur Troy Parrot. Tottenham's starting 11 will change from the weekend but they still should have enough at home. Hopefully, Richarlison will get a start although I've heard rumours that he's broken a tooth. Tottenham 4-3 AZ Alkmaar

  • Ex-Spur Troy Parrott is almost certain to score because "football is a funny old game".

  • Ange is likely to change much of the starting 11 again. Bentancur is likely to start, as is Davies, Dragusin, Werner, Gray, Bergvall, and Moore. Given that Maddison was subbed on Saturday at half time I'll be surprised if he doesn't feature at all.

  • AZ have scored in 8 of their 11 matches this season.
