- Goalkeeper Gregor Kobel could return from an ankle injury, while Axel Witsel and Thorgan Hazard are both expected to be fit. Emre Can is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow against Bayern last weekend.
- Gio Reyna is ruled out with a tendon injury. Mo Dahoud will miss this one with a shoulder injury, while Mats Hummels will be out for several weeks with a thigh problem.
- Donyell Malen suffered a tendon strain and is ruled out. Nico Schulz and Felix Passlach could be squad options after recovering from muscle injuries.
- Steffen Tigges has broken his ankle, while Mateu Morey remains on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, and former skipper Marcel Schmelzer continues his comeback from a knee injury.
- Danilo Soares remains doubtful with a hip injury, while Konstantinos Stafylidis is suspended and will miss the rest of the season.
- Key man Simon Zoller has returned after a long-term ACL injury and could make a welcome start.
