WhoScored Tipster: Dybala to score and another Monaco-Man City goalfest

Juventus vs Porto - Paulo Dybala anytime

It’s tempting just to stick to the home win here, such is the value in the odds (@1.70). The Old Lady have won 19 and lost none of their 21 matches at the Juventus Stadium this season, coming out on top in each of the last 9. While Porto - aside from the reverse leg three weeks ago - are also in fine form, prior to a run of four consecutive away wins their record on the road is patchy at best, including a modest Champions League group stage return.

However, the best value in this game is in the anytime scorer market, and while Higuain is generally the go-to guy for Juve, one need look no further than Paulo Dybala. The forward’s season was disrupted by injury but now fully fit he looks back to his best, particularly at home. Indeed, each of Dybala’s last 11 goals have been scored in Turin, with 9 in 9 at the Juventus Stadium since the turn of the year. Odds @2.50 to score anytime with Bet365 are too good to refuse.

Leicester vs Sevilla - Draw/Both teams to score

There’s little doubt that Sevilla are favourites to progress in tonight’s game but Leicester will be confident following dramatic improvements under Craig Shakespeare. Ranieri’s parting gift, so to speak, was to leave the Foxes with an away goal and as such a dentine chance of Champions League progression, knowing that a 1-0 win would be enough. The hosts certainly won’t be going all out attack then, but will need to open up at some point and allow Jorge Sampaoli’s side some chances.

Sevilla have had a couple of underwhelming draws in the league that will likely have derailed any title bid, but still carry a threat in every game. Indeed, since league duties resumed in January Sampaoli’s side have found the net in all but one of their 13 matches in all competitions. They should do so again at the King Power Stadium, but Leicester’s record at home has actually been decent all season, only losing to Chelsea, Manchester United, Everton and West Brom in all competitions. A tight game could be on the cards then, but goals should be assured at both ends, with odds @4.00 on a score draw.

Monaco vs Manchester City - Over 3.5 goals

If the first leg is anything to go by, this should be another real treat. While they twice through away a lead at the Etihad Monaco would usually have been delighted with three away goals. However, by letting Leroy Sane score a fifth for City they need to go on the offensive, and while they have proven more than capable of going down that route all season, gaps will open for the visitors to exploit.

The game in Manchester saw something of a masterclass in finishing but also a lesson in how not to defend leads - changing hands three times over the 90 minutes - and with Monaco’s key centre-back Kamil Glik suspended, that seems unlikely to improve. As a result, and with all the attacking talent on display, we should be in line for another goal fest. Monaco need two and may well get them but Guardiola’s side are more than capable of matching their hosts in that regard. Over 3.5 goals is @1.90.

Atletico Madrid vs Bayer Leverkusen - Atletico highest scoring half = 2nd

Bayer Leverkusen, under new management in Tayfun Korkut since the first leg, have to go for the throat of their hosts on Wednesday, which could cause problems. Atletico are renowned for their miserly defence - albeit less so this season - and will be more than happy to invite their visitors out of their positions, potentially keeping things tight in the first half.

Moreover, it’s been a difficult period for the away side on Wednesday since the first leg, now without a win in four, and their defence looks suspect to say the least. With Jonathan Tah injured and Benjamin Henrichs suspended that’s unlikely to change, though Atletico can take their time to find their feet in front of goal. In fact, while Simeone’s side have scored 21 goals since the start of February, only five of those have come in the first half of matches. With Leverkusen legs likely to tire given they need to make a strong start, odds on Atletico’s highest scoring half to be the second once again are very tempting @2.20.
